Hmmm.

Here is the reply I have from Cornell Admissions:
"Students who would like to request an extension of the May 1 date should e-mail the college to which they were accepted. If they have applied to a specific scholarship program and there is a reasonable chance for a successful outcome, the colleges are usually willing to grant a limited extension. Unfortuntately, if the student just wants to initiate a search for scholarship funds at this point, we cannot grant an extension."

I hate not knowing. The future's so uncertain... everything could go any number of ways... not exaggerating. well at least I'm not in this alone. :)
