First I was afraid
I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without my Pyrex slide
But I spent so many nights thinking how I did it wrong
I grew strong
I learned how to carry on

And so I'm back
In the TA's grace
I just walked into lab to find
An approving smile upon his face
I should have changed the funky numbers
I should have made up all the graphs
If I had known it'd take one second
To get both my isoclines

Screw the results
Just go ahead and make it up 'cause it don’t matter anymore
The day the Macintosh malfunctioned and I broke my bloody slide
I saw it crumble
I thought I'd lay down and cry

As long as I know how to fabricate

I've got all my data points
I've got Microsoft Excel

It took all the strength I had
Not to fall apart
Kept trying hard to mend
The pieces of my broken slide
And I spent oh so many nights
Just feeling sorry for myself
I used to sigh
Now I say @#$% it, *bleep bleep bleep*!

Somebody new
I'm not that sleep-deprived person working the whole night thru
But don’t think I have it easy, life’s still not exactly breezy
Now I'm saving all my free time
For my @#$%ing Chemistry...
