te quiero Argentina!

In the last month, I've survived a terrible cold through finals (and scored the best grades ever in my academic history at the UofC), visited waterfalls, been glacier trekking and white water rafting, gotten a sore butt from days of bus-ing through the Andes, and consumed indecent proportions of beef, wine and dulce de leche (a muy sweet confection spread on everything).

It was a truly wonderful experience in the largest South American country... I am incredibly grateful for the company I've had and for the season, and that everyone is safe and happy.

Christmas has passed and surprisingly, Chicago was not blanketed in snow as expected upon our return. However, there's that unmistakeable sense of familiarity and affection associated with the city skyline and Hyde Park. Argentina was fun, but it's great to be back.
