Beautiful

I just had 2 of the most wonderful weekends all year! Beautiful, in fact :)

So last last weekend Alex and I flew up to the Big Apple for an amazing 48hrs:

So I won't forget what we did: Chinatown, dim sum lunch, Wall St, Harbour, Greenwich Village, Avenue Q. Empire State Building, MoMA, brunch with Yaox, Cherie and bf (of which I have no photo ><), queueing up for TKTS while a certain somebody caught 40 winks... The Met, The Gugg, Central Park, Sushi Yasuda, Rent, and Macy's. Oh, and my first first class flight ever!! ;D

The next weekend began early with a trip to Notre Dame on Friday! Beautiful weather, beautiful campus, beautiful company :) Saturday we took an even longer drive to Wisconsin-Madison, and I got to meet my darling Sihui! There we sampled squeaky and grilled cheese curds and honey from the Farmers' Market, duck confit at Marigold's, Babcock ice cream at Union Central, Spotted Cow beer, and Wisconsin football. AFTER all that we trooped to Rosemont for Christina Aguilera and the PCD - an ab fab, really enjoyable concert.

Finally, on Sunday I attended a really good sermon (The Perfection of Love, by Pastor Seesun) and a picnic at The Point. Beautiful lake, sky, creation... and the Beautiful Game! (which unfortunately turned very ugly once I started playing, and Alex got injured - in unrelated incidents)

Somehow, despite the mountain of work to do and midterms to study for, I've found that life is... beautiful.
