I'm learning

A conversation with a friend about Wikipedia this morning yielded a simple but quite subtle truth: that the power of knowledge isn't fully unleashed in the hands of just anyone, but of those who can discern its worth. Vice versa, it's easy to get completely bogged down and confused and (worst of all!) not even know that we're bogged down and confused. We came to this conclusion from the observation that there's so much information out there, but only so few people can recognise what's useful, and make good out of it. Interesting ya...
