like water into wine

Mambo Nite on Wednesday was a lovely treat, because there were some faces I hadn't seen in a while :) And some new ones! And while the music was erratic the atmosphere was electric... had to tear myself away at 2. It was the sort of night that leaves a great aftertaste (despite the lashings of whisky coke and lemon lime gin light) and keeps you smiling all through the following day.

In fact, have been living on a real high since then. Unexpected and potentially stressful pieces of news have been laughed off and/ or settled easily; am also relishing amazing conversations (where both sides really opened up and connected), an a cappella performance with songs that speak to my soul... and a wedding that was glorious inside and out. And the weekend isn't even over yet!

Oh la dolce vita :) And life, like good wine, is only getting sweeter...
