I'm now officially carrying another being!
We're connected by a cord... it makes weird noises stimes... and it's constantly strapped to my tummy... my insulin pump!
Haha take a look. Trendy no?

So my dear doc acted quickly and set up an appt with the pump vendor... who put me on a trial! Good news: the device is free and I get a week or 2 to decide whether wearing the pump is convenient or not :)
Bad news: My nurse calling to check up on me 24/7, cos she's afraid that I'll go dangerously hypo and fall into coma or sthing. And the fact that nothing else is free! For getting hooked up to a tube of saltwater, I had to pay the following:
$27 consultation fee (which consisted mainly of my nurse moaning about how busy the holiday period was, and going through everything in the manual which i could have read myself)
$25 diatetic counselling (this was where the dietician carefully, painstakingly, laboriously multiplied everything on the guidesheet by 1.5 -with a calculator- to convert asian servings to american, and I amused myself by beating her -with my head- every time.)
AND -get this-
$10.50 dressing fee (dressing? what dressing?? unless you mean the 2 alcohol swabs i had to use.)

ok this isn't meant to be an anti-govt rant but. really.
