Rant

So there've been like these little problems lately...
1. Lost my HP
Most likely left on the bed in NY, and picked up by the same person who had a 10-minute phone call on our room phone ^_^
So I had to make my poor friend call all the way from home to suspend my line (hopefully no one has been making long-dist phone calls on it alr), and I have to get a new phone and SIMcard, and painstakingly enter in all my contacts again, AND sh had to give me her blue star NYC charm cos I was being a big baby about losing mine.
(And now no one can call me, and things are very inconvenient, and I'm really sorry to everyone who's had to make allowances for my carelessness.)


2. Scholarship agency transferring my 6 mths allowance to my SG bank account instead of my US one
I emailed my scholarship officer, no reply. I tried calling, no one picked up. (No one takes me seriously!) In desperation I contacted my parents (and anyone who knows me should know that IS the last last resort I would take...) and today my scholarship officer promptly apologized and promised that the agency would compensate all the "fees incurred due to this incident".
Of course, that doesn't solve the problem... since my parents can't get the money out of my personal bank account. So I'm poor and in debt and I haven't booked my flight back argh.

3. School's started. 'Nuff said.
