Ever felt like a million dollars?

Yeah well it's a great feeling!

Even after forgetting to hand in my hume paper this aftn, and my voice giving way in the middle of the MAJ'N concert... it's been a nice coupla days.

The Reggers are playing win lose or draw in the library. it's really amusing... i am having a discussion on the evils of substance abuse with allison and rob. I must confess i wrote a diabolical "Ode To Chai" under caffeine's influence:

Sated.

Just a few minutes is all it takes
For euphoria to set in
All of a sudden it makes
It alright to be Reggin’.

I am acutely aware of my heartrate
Increasing, and I feel great
I fidget around as I wait
For the initial fizz to abate

Colours, colours in shades and streaks
Brighter and more vivid than they’ve ever been
Sounds: grunts and sighs and creaks
Trying to distract from the screen

I know I might regret
When this gamble takes its toll
But for now, I conveniently forget
At least I am in control.

I am my own being, ruling my own life.
I am in tune with the world.

I watch as the moon grows dim
And the night passes away
Over the cinnamon rim
Of my chai tea latte.
