Disillusioned
*yawn* Tired.
Of all days not to bring my camera! Spectacular sights seen (or not) today:
1) Drifty clouds in parallel in a blue, blue sky. My dream sky!
2) Variety of cool licence plates, e.g. ENRGY 14, GET A SUB
3) SAMSU soccer team's winning goal (actually, no one saw this one)
4) UIUC ppl storming the streets in orange shirts after ensuring their bball team ensured a spot in the NCAA final, and buses flashing WAY TO GO ILLINI
5) cheng's face when she heard both me & sh wishing her happy bday!
Recent events and random observations have led me to realise that the world isn't as rosy as I often view it... like lots of bad stuff happens but I usually bounce right back you know? But now I can't stop wondering why people are so screwed up. Everyone. Like how come people say one thing and do another? Why can't people be less selfish and more considerate? Why can't people keep their promises?
Aiyah. Maybe I'm getting less understanding of other ppl and more hypersensitive (is that possible??), or just older and wiser.

Coming back from France and Italy, I've become more disillusioned about Man than ever - his selfish presumptions, jealousy, narrow-mindedness, infidelity, self-pursuit, etc. all evident from remnants of history. It's worse now... and that's why we're called to be the light of this world, and priests of God (1 Peter) :) Leave Jesus to judge, and let us fulfil our own duties for God!
