Peruvian nights

wow so the last week of fall quarter kinda whizzed by... it was finals finals pia paper and pow! Blissful nap, the midnight Narnia show (I am in love with Peter), packing, and then it was onto Peru! Sun, sand, mountains, rocks, grass and sea (and, erm, lots and lots of cheap shopping). Plus when you go with 6 awesome ppl, well... ;)

It's been an awesome 18 days. Highlights include: watching the condor soar at Colca Canyon, trying alpaca and guinea pig meat, missing a train stop en route to Machu Picchu, climbing a mountain, chocolate + bridge + Bailey's orgies, awesome clubs with affordable, LEGAL drinks, and insanely cheap souvenirs ;P

Most definitely the best part was meeting friendly Peruvian people, immersing ourselves in their culture, and picking up Spanish everywhere :) Kudos to Yihan for finding us the entire tour package and getting us around safely! And to everyone, for taking care of each other on the trip... it was -ahem- quite a peaceful trip for such a large group of crazy Asian tourists running around the south of Peru, and I feel i've gotten to know all my friends a little better.

Now to attempt the gargantuan task of labelling photos and sending everything off to the parents etc.
