Two hours and it's over.

Hardly reflective of the time and effort that's gone into this: the countless hours spent blocking scenes, in dance rehearsal, in perfecting pitch and timing, in designing, calling, planning, and tabling... in makeup and in WAITING.

Two glorious hours, nonetheless.

Yup, God was in the midst alright... no way our show would have gone through, judging from our rehearsals right up to the afternoon of the show itself. But somehow all the lighting and sound cues worked out, as did the costume changes... and we sold 700 tickets!!

Of course we all got totally high at the afterparty :) Things got kinda crazy too, but that's ok... met up with lots of Sporeans from neighbouring unis, including my dahling Sh, the Wisc bunch and lots of RG-GEPers... It was also really great to have Andrew back for a day.

Today at the symposium Dick Lee shook my hand and said he thought I was "excellent"
*squee*
Hey, maybe he was just saying to be nice, but it's not everyday one gets to hear that!

And now it's time to return to reality, to homework and tests and life as it was before Beauty World. Strangely enough I'm not feeling as empty as I thought I would - maybe I will tomorrow, when 7pm hits and I realise I'm not supposed to be anywhere (like the Shoreland Ballroom maybe). Anyhow I'm so glad for the experience, for getting to know all these Beautiful people and that we ended on a high note (pardon the pun)!
