finals, FINAL-ly over

Beautiful 2 days spent chilling with friends... immediately after Bio ended I accompanied Alex to shine up his car, then we cruised to Belmont for lunch and a spot of shopping :)

He looks like a guy who just got his engine oil changed!

Leona's (just round the corner from Clarke's) is a cosy family restaurant with the most interesting menus ever and generous portions (definitely thumbs up for the giant garden salad and giant meatball lasagne we shared).

Afterwards it was off to Sports Connection, DSW, NeverMind, and Target where I promptly splashed out on clothes and other completely unnecessary stuff. Spoils from today: 3 pairs of shoes, a black windbreaker, and yet another black clubbing top :) You know how every girl needs to have an LBD? I hereby declare that we can never have enough LBTs either.

Finally the housemates had our house date at Hot Chocolate... this is an awesome dessert place! if somewhat elusive and difficult to find by night. It serves the most amazing malted choc shakes and (what else) hot chocolate! entrees (duck salad and roast spring chicken) were not bad either...

Saturday we visited Devon and in true-blue Singaporean style, wiped out the buffet table at Viceroy of India in 10 min flat... but hey we finished almost everything, and I could have used more mango ice cream =P Devon is also full of quaint little shops that offer face threading, owch! and all sorts of spices and hard-to-find food, like fresh yummy mangoes, umm. We ended up buying a dozen for PPT's farewell (sorta) dinner... I'm really gonna miss him and house dates!

Oatmeal-honey-yoghurt masks now... then it's off to sunny Acapulco in a few hours!
