Today...

Was my first day at work! Am back at the Student Care Centre, screaming at kids... it's amazing how fast they've grown. And how RUDE. Ohmygoodness some of them really need a good spanking... the way they talk back to the teachers! Too bad it's illegal to touch their spoilt little butts.

That said the sight of them curled up when (finally) asleep during naptime is the sweetest thing since Splenda! Talk about a love-hate relationship...

Also, I developed a sore throat in record timing. Now I sound like a frog :(

Visited the dentist (to make up for the appointment I missed by sleeping in). There's a certain indignity about opening your mouth and letting someone poke around and do all sorts of unsanctioned things inside... can hardly look at the dentist after, even though this one was really nice (unlike my old orthodontist). Well not like I could speak anyway - my mouth was still numb from 7 injections from a GIANT BENDY NEEDLE. I just nodded and smiled and bolted and ran while trying not to drool on the nice clean floor.
