it's my world
I am so digging this month's issue of Her World.
For starters, there was a very poetic and wise piece of advice from a father to a son: "Treat all women with respect, because someday one of them will be the mother of your children."
Then there was a feature on the birth of a new trend of 'alternative leave' - duvet leave (for those mornings when you can't get out of bed), heartache leave (allowing time to hit the shops during daytime sales, and of course, get over breakups), period leave (need we say more? women rejoice!).
And last but not least, it has interviews with 50 delish bachelors ranging from choclatiers to swim school owners! And from the looks of their answers some of them aren't too lacking in the IQ/EQ dept either. Which got me thinking, can we really find such treasures on the street??
A quick recap confirmed that most of these 'eligible bachelors' are in their early 30s :(( Confirming Pope John XXIII's opinion that "Men are like wine - some turn to vinegar, but the best improve with age"!
Ok I really need to stop going for the likes of Peter in The Chronicles of Narnia...

On that note, am looking fwd to catching Prince Caspian next week! :D
