Monkton-ian moments

I feel like Edward Monkton today - crazy but enlightened.

Am waltzing around the office, holding a box of Lindt chocolate truffles in one hand and my insulin bottle in the other, and knowing that all things in life will work out for good.

Having witnessed the departure of an unprecedented number of dear colleagues in the past few weeks, and having assumed several unexpected responsibilities... even elastic objects have their limit:
F=-kx\,
where
x is the displacement of an individual/object from equilibrium position;
k is the force/spring constant; and F is the force exerted by life's stresses, which if exceeds a certain amount (unique to each individual/object) will force k to go out of whack and create DISORDER IN THE UNIVERSE
