It's really therapeutic, blogging... realising the joys of sitting around on my butt!

It's been a busy weekend... yday went to Chicago GSB to attend the Summer Send-Off Party. Friendly and most helpful seniors, good food, and gorgeous building (if somewhat elusive - wandered along Orchard/ Penang Rds for a good 20min before finding it!)

Also watched The Stepford Wives. T'was hilarious if somewhat predictable... a comforting lesson: the heroine and her husband saved their marriage by discovering that love isn't about striving to be the perfect partner, but the best you can be and making each day count. Coincidentally, PM Lee's talking at the ND Rally and he just cited an example of an SDU guy with unrealistic expectations :p Bottom line is, relationships can never be perfect... so i need to stop expecting too much of other ppl, be it the boyfriend or family or friends. The only perfect love there is comes from God!

On Sun went to church then Sam's place in the aftn. I lurrrve his family they're so cute and easily tickled. What's more they're really close and never afraid to say "I love you"... sthing mine should learn from, we're quite the reverse :P
