waves of gratitude
Guess it's mutual appreciation day or sthing, everywhere I look ppl are thanking God for their friends. well it happened to me on the (rarely early) way back to Shoreland...
I'd like to give thanks for the friends I've made here (and by default, in Singapore =) You're the ones I've spent many a late night at the Reg with, slacked with, been homesick with. Explored downtown with, fought in the snow with, tried new things with. Shared huge meals with, laughed at corny jokes with, identified with. And that doesn't even begin to describe our experiences together in the past 5 months or so.
It's really sad that 2/9ths of our time together in Chicago is almost over. And once we move out of the dorms we might see each other even less... but well I'll treasure the great times! Hopefully when we're wrinkled and old we'll be bao-ing each others' grandkids and bickering away like we do now :P
