first day at work on attachment (i don't get paid mind you)

My prof seems pretty nice but I prob won't have much time to slack ard tho, i'm in the director's research group PLUS my lab's on the top floor aka directors' floor and apparently no one even dares use the pantry cos you have to walk past their suite to get to it... sigh.

It's been terribly boring so far - countless safety abd admin briefings, but it's only the first day! i'll prob get to handle a micropipette or so by tmr *cheerful*

I had to read 80 pgs of someone's thesis, since our project is based on it. Ended up with a splitting headache but at least I could look forward to meeting my JC classmates, some whom I hadn't seen in over a year.

Turned out that my ex-classmate had invited her uni friends too and there weren't many S15-ers... still we had nice time catching up. Feel hot and fat from the bbq but woo was it good! Sambal stingray, satay and choc bananas =)
