Ushering in 2006

Glammed up and ate at this Spanish restaurant called Volare (our household themesong!) - good seafood, good pasta, and they even gave out cute plastic hats and party favors to blow... only grouse was that their dessert menu was shy and refused to emerge even after repeated calling.

Fireworks were breathtaking and the atmosphere was fun (everyone was cheering and clapping and greeting everybody else, and cars were slowing down by the roadside to honk)!
