Thanks for your overt concern, but it really just riles me up. Because if you haven't noticed I'm TWENTY. I'm supposed to be too old for [teenage] angst actually, which is even more frustrating.
Yes, I've changed, and I'm making conscious choices that happen to differ from your ideals. I don't care how much salt you've eaten; you don't always know what's best for me. So if I make mistakes, that's my problem, but I treasure my freedom to make them. And I don't believe in regrets.
So give me a little liberty to eat my own salt.

take it easy... these things do happen occasionally, but i guess knowing that yr parents do things out of love, even if sometimes the expression/action doesn't quite come across as it should.
