During our Peru trip we made up an elaborate analogy between bridge (the card game) and dating: you can
- up the bid and make a 'signal'
- decide you got a really bad hand and pass
- play recklessly cos you're damn sian of never winning
- or just wait for the right partner to rescue you
Not to say that eros love is -just- a game we play... but the analogy certainly is quite apt.
