tu vas bien

Am recently back from a holiday in HK. My soul is still floating somewhere in gastronomic and retail heaven...

Some highlights:
- The Peak: the day we visited we were blessed with a clear sky and magnificent views all around. HK at its sunny best.

- The Shopping: HK has this incredible network of shopping malls, the likes of I've never seen. I actually lost track of the number of LV stores... not that we went into any :P But the best part was finding comfy AND pretty leather peep-toes, and those knee-high leather boots I've been craving for (yes they are hot).

- The Food: daily dimsum, and delicious desserts with giant cubes of mango and grass jelly for only 20 HKD =) We also splashed out on a three-course set lunch at L'atelier de Joel Robuchon. Best S$100 I've ever spent on food! And, a French wine buffet (2 hours' free flow selection from 13 reds whites and roses, another steal at S$48). Thanks Lip for bringing us there!

- Macau: rather polluted, or as Brian calls it, 'a giant ashtray' :P Chaos greeted us at the ferry terminal; hotel shuttle buses were unable to pick up guests due to road closures from the Macau Grand Prix (more sexy purrs of engines, yay). Praise God for helping me spot the Hotel Royal bus, as well as the world's best Portuguese tarts ;)

Pardon this hedonistic post, heh. I'm helping to boost the economy! And advertise for HK... haha.
