Of short walks and long talks

Been catching up with friends over the last few days... and hence eating far too much.

Sat lunch at Newton Circus: between the two of us we demolished $40 worth of murtabak, rojak, bbqed crayfish and a juicy thai coconut *smacks lips*

JC class reunion seafood dinner at ECP: chilli crab, drunken prawns, sambal kangkong, and those terrific fried mantou - crispy-golden on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside :)

Sunday lunch, which I am very proud to say was self-made, consisted of fusilli with ground beef-chicken-mushroom soup sauce, aeroponic vegetable salad and ayam rendang!

Finally I topped off dinner with durian (how could I resist? $20 for 6 boxes at Carrefour)... explaining why I'm feeling extremely bloated and slightly ill now.

I am reminded of Mary's shirt, which reads "meine Diät fängt morgen an!" (my diet begins tomorrow! in German)...

Okay, you beat me... the highest density of singaporean food i've had so far is merely kuay teow and carrot cake and popiah. I must make pilgrimage to bukit timah market one day for the sting ray. must.
