The Perfect movie to Catch
Yay so I won a pair of tix to the preview of The Perfect Catch.
Since (I quote) "the fabulous Ms Drew Barrymore, the new face of Lancome" was starring, the whole event had been sponsored by the cosmetics brand and we were all given letters for "free skin analysis" (which can be obtained at all Lancome counters anyway)... but anyway after sitting through the promotional spiels we got on to a very sweet and funny movie.
Girl loves work, guy loves Red Sox. They fall in love, and out, and find some way to balance it all. Heh not quite a new formula at all but who needs originality when it comes to romantic comedies?
I'm glad I went even at such short notice (the SMS came like 6 hours before I was supposed to collect the tix). I'm glad I brought my mum, even though I think she missed half the jokes... And I learnt sthing about baseball (Aiko, you should watch this one)!

BX: It's Fever Pitch in the US, but they renamed it so we wouldn't get confused with the ancient Brit version...
Sandra: I got your O Chem textbook! Sorry, not quite as exciting as the Red Sox winning. Heh.
