Relocation

I've just been unceremoniously ejected from the serenity of Crerar Library (my newfound home, MWF, 1030-1130). Some idiot set the fire alarm off! At first we all couldn't figure out what it was and just there at our computer terminals... and finally someone went "It's the fire alarm - you have to move guys!"

(I must say I was quite impressed by the speedy response of 3 blaring fire engines, though I shouldn't, since the fire station is just 3 blocks up and 3 blocks east on 55th.)

So anyway en route to the Reg, I was reminded of the way we're having to put up in a temporary home now (and thanks to unforeseen circumstances regarding certain kitrchen cabinets, are having to put up in for 2 weeks longer). It's very annoying not to have all my stuff with me (though I am very grateful, Brian) and to have limited Internet access (I missed an email saying we could check answers to our Chemistry problem sets and that we could bring our molecular models to the midterm, the day before it).

In other news, I've more or less settled that sticky business with the car by paying $55 - God is good (all the time!)
