I'm leaving on a jet plane... but I'll be back again!
In about 6 hours I'll say goodbye to Singapore.
Have spent the last few days frantically packing and settling stuff... it's almost as if I were dying, the way I'm trying to bequeath my stuff to ppl :P And of course, soaking in as much of home as possible... taking pics of my room and hangouts (city hall, suntec, esplanade). Also visited the zoo with Sam (my first time in 10 years! it's changed a lot) and eating fried carrot cake, curry, my fave pineapple rice... Silly I know cos I'll be back in 2.5 months... and there's always digiphotos to send over! But the memories are so pretty :)
Kinda dreading the scene at the airport... will be torn between many groups coming down. There'll prob be awkward lulls while i rush from group to group trying to dig up conversation, and really sad moments hugging everybody and trying not to cry (I look hideous when I do!) But I am so grateful for the many well-wishers there are - thank God for real friends and ppl who care for me.
As heartbreaking as it is to leave many things behind (e.g. family, boyfriend, friends), I have a feeling that this is the beginning of a whole new experience, and I'm gonna have fun and learn a lot. watch out, world!
