Chinatown
i have paid this marvellous place all but 3 visits and it really deserves more. This evening we had dinner at Lao Sze Chuan... traditional Chinese food with loads of rice and spice! joy yee's bubble tea is also becoming traditional in the sense that i'm drinking it every time I visit. And there's a cool provisions store selling hello panda, and vitasoy, and lee kum kee cooking sauces! haha so surreal.
Singing dilemma - after like 5 week this christian a capella group finally contacted me! after their first session i've concluded that the music and fellowship is worth the time (tho the singers aren't really that great...) Prob is, i'm also in gospel choir which is kinda cool. We're leading worship at bethel on sun... these brothers and sistas are so into jesus. And SU is, as a friend tastefully put it, "more diverse". but i really think i need to drop it, i need time to study! midterm results so far - chem 89/100, bio 48/50, math (argh! a C!). really need your grace Lord!
In a subversive (my fave word!) plot to delay my bday daylight savings has kicked in and as of 2am on 31 Oct Chicago shall be 14 hours behind Singapore (instead of 13). take note!
