the appeal of curdled milk... and caffeine

Sunday night my house had service auction cum study break. My rate for massages is officially $9/ 15min! We're trying to raise funds so that we can go swhere further than lincoln park zoo. some interesting things bid for:
- personal portrait ($61)
- someone's grandma's christmas fudge
- personal rhino
- rhino protection
- bedtime story-telling ($18)
- 2 bathroom cleanings (me and my roomies won tt with a bid of $23)

In the spirit of the cheesy tirade going on, quesadillas were served (with some reputedly 'very spicy' home-made salsa which wasn't very spicy at all). I was also pleasantly surprised when my RH brought out cheesecakes and the house sang Happy Birthday(i got to celebrate my birthday again!) and yes ladies and gentlemen i had not one, but TWO slices of cheesecake. there were like 10 different flavours and bday ppl had free reign so how could i resist? actually, how can i resist any cheesecake period? it rocks my world :)

Am also discovering new-found friends in bartmart's javalanches... they kept me perky til 3am yday! i got my math and half my chem lab done, and ventured down to the point in trackpants slippers and wet hair in search of the aurora borealis (it/they didn't appear *disappointed* i'm going again tonight). hard to imagine they're just iced coffee!!
