Reformed

I am! As fit and healthy as a poor girl long-starved of Singaporean cuisine could get.

Or so I thought...

Healthy, good girl things

  1. Cycle on ECP
    Even though it rained halfway, too!

  2. Swim 20 laps
    Despite a)anal-hygienic brain reminding me that the pool is simply a giant bathtub for everyone’s suntan lotions and hair and goodness knows what else
    b)previous unsavoury encounter with a chee-ko-NSman
    c)not swimming for the past 3 mths

  3. Lots more shopping! (all that walking, y'know)



Bad girl things

  1. Finish off the Last of the Ghirardellis :(

  2. Pig out at Goodwood Park Hotel high tea:
    Kueh paiti, har gao, kari ayam, roti prata, laksa, mee siam, curry puffs, carrot cake, char kway teow, ice kacang, longan almond jelly, raspberry mousse, bread-and-butter pudding, crème brulee, and assorted nyonya kueh. *burp*


  3. The damning evidence (grainy quality thanks to my new Nokia 6610i... but i still like it!):

    Kuehs!


    Laksa - rice noodles in a curry-coconut milk gravy with preserved shrimp and sprouts


    Dessert heaven


    And to top it all off... Ice kachang/ Chendol thingy

  4. Lots more movie-watching (i.e. nacho fests)
    -Strictly Ballroom (Baz Lurhmann classic. recommended for R+J and Moulin Rouge addicts!)
    -Madagascar (cutesy. but sushi-eating lions is, well, an insult!)
