another lazy weekend

So instead of swimming and exercising, I end up eating a tonne of stuff (albeit all worth it), and being very sedentary (so what's new?)

War of the Worlds: lousy. what a letdown. where was the plot?? kudos for the gripping action and exciting screenplay, but really, viewers deserve more than watching Tom Cruise drive a car/ carry his daughter through screaming throngs. And Dakota Fanning contributing a fair share to the screaming (finally, someone who can beat me) herself. Not only am i disgusted at the way these so-called aliens (that managed to beam themselves down to earth via lightning bolts and annihilate countless people with ray guns) died, I now have an aversion to those metal claw things ppl try to grab soft toys with in arcades *shudder* Don't watch it!
